LIMES FARM EQUESTRIAN CENTRE is set in rural surroundings on the outskirts of Hawkinge village. We have access to miles of contryside, ideal for hacking. We can cater for all ages and abilities. Come and visit our stables and enjoy the countryside with our friendly staff.


Getting to us is easy too. Situated close to the A260 Canterbury to Folkestone road we are within easy reach of the Channel Ports which have regular services to the Continent.


The Channel Tunnel is about three miles away. The M20 and M2 motorways provide easy access to London. The cathedral city of Canterbury is on a direct bus route and London can be reached by train in ninety minutes.

LIMES FARM offers a full range of facilities to cater for every aspect of equitation. These include a large outside school (100m x 27m), an indoor international size arena (27m x 70m). Shows are held regularly throughout the year together with social events in our clubroom and licensed bar.
We also have a newly refurbished cafeteria serving a wide range of delicious home cooked meals.

LIMES FARM is a well-established training centre, riding school, and livery yard. Clients have the opportunity to train and compete in Limes Farms showjumping and dressage shows which are held regularly throughout the year.


Our Riding School takes children from the age of 4yrs, starting with an individual half hour lead rein lesson on a one to one basis. We offer a wide range of riding lessons from the complete beginner to the advanced rider. Group lessons are also available.

Alternatively there is private coaching available from Daryl Connock on your own horse.

Our aim at Limes Farm is to encourage students to gain as much experience of the horse industry as possible. In addition to the timetabled training and competition experience they gain whilst at Limes Farm, students are also encouraged to attend the many clinics, lectures and demonstrations that are organised throughout the year. Limes Farm has hosted lecture/demonstrations given by competitors and trainers such as John Whittaker, Geoff Billington, Rob Hoekstra, Matt Ryan, Richard Davison, Eric Smiley FBHS, Tim Stockdale and Paul Hayler.
